Team Veracity Finds A Way to Help Students.. and Have Some Fun!

Local golfers teed off for a good cause today at the Shoal Creek Golf Course.  Veracity Consulting joined our business partner KCPL  by helping sponsor holes at the KSMO Chapter of the American Association of Blacks in Energy Annual Golf Tournament.   This event is a fundraiser to provide scholarships for minority students in the fields of engineering, science and business.

Play got underway with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. and continued throughout the day.   “Every little bit of the money we can raise here, we want to go back into the youth community.  It’s a wonderful bonus that we are able to champion a meaningful event like this along side one of our valued business partners, KCPL. Veracity knows how important it is to support our future engineers and scientists. ”  said Angela Hurt, CEO and Founder of Veracity Consulting, Inc.

Team Veracity Helps With A Backpack Drive For Disadvantaged Children

GO TEAM VERACITY!  Team Veracity has shown their giving spirit again!  They worked with KVC Health Systems to purchase backpacks for children in need for the upcoming school year. KVC works with children through adoption, fostercare, and other health and family needs.  They are working to provide backpacks filled with school supplies to the children in their care.  Many in need  will be entering kindergarten through sixth grade. In addition, employees of Veracity Consulting coordinated the donation efforts at their client sites. Backpacks and supplies collected by these offices will help KVC, who will distributed them in August to elementary school children in their care.

IMG_4035KVC supports many of disadvantaged children across the states of Kansas and Missouri with various social and economic services. The state agency will distribute the backpacks. The Backpack Donation Program is one of Veracity Consulting’s employee initiatives to support local communities in Kansas and Missouri. KVC Health Systems, headquartered in the greater Kansas City area, is a private, nonprofit 501(c)3 organization committed to enriching and enhancing the lives of children and families by providing medical and behavioral healthcare, social services, and education.
