Angela started her career in 1999 with a Kansas City based consulting firm. She learned all aspects of Information Technology, from the most popular operating systems, databases and programming languages, to the tools that were used to make business and systems analysts and project managers a success. From there, she transitioned to putting her skills to the test for national firms, soaking up the different operating models and company cultures. As a result of that experience, she learned what it really meant to solve business problems for her client partners, not just treat the issue. Eventually, her innate desire to contribute to a greater cause took over, and she founded Veracity Consulting, Inc.
A driving force at Veracity since its inception in 2006, Angela has led the company to where it is today. During this time, Angela has transformed the company into a national firm, with expanded infrastructure managed services, data intelligence, and big 5 consulting capabilities.
Angela leads by example by volunteering in the communities where Veracity operates and contributing to a wide range of pro bono projects. She is one of the agency’s strongest advocates for Veracity’s community volunteer and outreach programs. Angela also serves as a board member for Women’s Employment Network and is the Board Co-Chair for American Indian Enterprise Business Council. She is an active member of Central Exchange where she serves on committee’s for WiSTEMM, a CX initiative designed to put a well-deserved spotlight on women in Kansas City working in the fields of science, technology, engineering, math and medicine.
When she’s not working, she’s either golfing, playing tennis, running marathons or something else wild – she knows no fear when it comes to sports and in Angela’s world, the more competitive, the better. And these days, it’s not unusual that the tables are turned and that Angela is rooting for her son as he plays basketball, following in his mom’s athletic footsteps.
Angela is a Friends University alumni and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems.Contact Angela
